How "Train to Gain" can benefit you

This could be:

A three-hour PR and Media Workshop (free)
A media/presentation skills session for your MD (free)

“Train to Gain” is a Government scheme that supplies a grant of up to one thousand pounds for Leadership and Management training. We have been supplying training and coaching to clients under the scheme for some time.

It works like this. The first five hundred pounds is grant-funded in full and is intended for the MD and senior staff. Up to a further thousand pounds is fifty per cent funded, and may be spent on any management training.

There are a few other criteria:

The organisation must be based in London (if you're in the UK but outside London, we may still be able to help - Email us )
There must be between 4 and 249 employees
You must not have received a Train to Gain grant before

The process is simple, consisting of a short interview and a brief form.

Here are some examples of what we can provide under the scheme:

1) A three-hour PR and Media workshop with the MD and senior staff, exploring new ways to promote your business at little cost. We charge 500 pounds plus VAT. You reclaim 500 pounds from Train to Gain.

2) A three-hour session with the MD working on presentation or media skills. We charge 500 pounds plus VAT. You reclaim 500 pounds from Train to Gain.

3) A PR plan for the year, with monthly targets. An initial two–hour session, then a 30 minute progress phone call each month. We charge 1,000 pounds plus VAT. You reclaim 750 pounds from Train to Gain.

3) 4) A half-day (four hours) media training session, with trainer, cameraman and portable studio. We charge 1,500 pounds plus VAT. You reclaim 1,000 from Train to Gain
