This is an example of a two-day crisis management course, covering print, radio and TV skills.

DAY ONE

 1015-1045    Radio interviews on “non-business” topics

1045-1115    Review of interviews

                       What to expect in a studio,   Basic “comfort advice”,   Getting the core message across

 1115-1130   Break and preparation

 1130-1200   Radio interviews – business topics.

                        Radio pre-record,  Live radio

 1200-1230    Playback and comment

 1230-1300    Hints and tips for radio

 1300-1400     LUNCH, during which news of a “crisis” breaks

 1400-1430     Print interviews on crisis (phoned in by journalists)

 1430-1500     Feedback and discussion – handling print media

 1500-1530     Radio interviews on crisis

 1530-1545     Discussion on radio interviews 

 1545-1600     Break

 1600-1700     Preparing for a Press Conference (overnight exercise)

 

DAY TWO

 0930-1000  Press review. Newspaper reports based on your interview (compiled overnight by our  trainers) Tips on how to deal with print journalists.

 1000-1030   Breakfast TV Interviews – crisis

 1030-1115   Feedback,  Discussion and review of crisis management

 1115-1130   Break and prepare for TV interviews

 1130-1215   TV Interviews – business

 1215-1300    Review, feedback and tips for TV interviews  

 1300-1400    LUNCH

 1400-1445    Live Press conference

 1445-1515    Discussion and feedback

 1515-1530    Break

 1530-1700    Available for revision and practice of any type of interviews

 1700           Discussion and close
